Pokémon Hunt

The Pokémon Hunt returns!
Attention Critters: From July 18 - August 1, join us for the third annual Pokémon Hunt in Midland, Penetanguishene, and the surrounding areas!
The annual Pokémon Hunt is a real-life scavenger hunt that encourages participants to explore their community; support local businesses; and share their love of all things Pokémon – all while earning the chance to win amazing prizes!
Want more of a challenge? Solve the riddles below to find the hunt locations! Can't wait for the fun to begin? Pick up the complete list of participating locations when you register in-store!
How to Play:
1. Visit EHH to receive your Stamp Passport and be registered in the event between July 1-18, 2026. The Stamp Passport includes two stamp markers, each containing a spot for shops to mark if the Pokémon has been found or if you have made a purchase at that location. Participants will also be required to already have, or be registered by EHH, a Pokémon Trainer ID. A Pokémon Player ID is a unique, personal identifier used to track tournament participation, league attendance, or other officially-sanction Play! Pokémon events. It is linked to your Pokémon Trainer Club account, enabling participation in regional and global tournaments, earning Championship Points, and receiving event-based perks
2. Decide whether you want to participant in the hunt on “easy” or “hard” mode:
Easy mode: we provide a complete list of all participating businesses
Hard mode: we provide a list of riddles for all participating businesses that you have to guess before visiting
3. "Hunt" Stamps: This year you will receive a passport booklet to acquire stamps, encouraging you to collect stamps from all "regions" to acquire more ballots for additional chances to win more prizes! Each “Region” completed provides a minimum of 1 ballot for finding Pokémon.
4. Want a second ballot for the draws? The second section of your stamp card is reserved for players who make a purchase at the businesses you visit during the hunt.
5. Each participating business will have a 3D printed Pokémon that is unique and not the same as other locations. Take a photo of the Pokémon, and bring to any of the staff working. Once they verify that you've found the Pokémon, they will give you a stamp on your card. If you make a purchase at the same time, they'll give you a second stamp!
6. Once you have all your stamps, drop off your stamp cards/ballots to Event Horizon Hobbies (along with your contact information) by August 1 at 6:00 to be eligible for prizing.
What can you win?
Each completed Stamp Card (by "region") becomes a ballot for a prize draw. Thanks to the generosity of the participating businesses and The Pokémon Company International, there are several prizes to be won, ranging from Pokémon-specific prizes donated by Event Horizon Hobbies and the Pokémon Company International, and gift certificates/gift packages donated by all the participating businesses.
Important House Rules:
Please keep in mind that this is a public event that takes place in private businesses. We expect that all participants will be respectful to other players and businesses, and any disturbances, or disregard for the following rules will not be tolerated, and will result in expulsion from the event and being ineligible for prizing.
Be Respectful of other players and other members of the community when out participating in the hunt.
Be respectful of the businesses, their employees, store hours, environment, and rules. If they indicate areas off-limits for the hunt, abide by it.
Do not share, or assist other players in finding the Pokémon. This is all about the hunt!
Do not touch any of the Pokémon statues, photos are allowed and encouraged!
A huge thank you in advance to all participating businesses - they have all generously donated items for prizing!
