Pokémon TCG Leagues at EHH

Join the EHH Team for our casual Pokémon Trading Card Game leagues, running twice a week! We welcome players of all ages and skill levels.

 

Whether you're just learning or looking for competitive play, we’ve got a space for you!

 

Junior Pokémon League (Saturdays @ 2:00 PM)

A fun, welcoming environment focused on learning and creativity.

 

Our Saturday league is designed with younger players in mind. We prioritize a family-friendly atmosphere (keeping language clean, supportive play, and lots of learning opportunities), while still welcoming players of all ages.

 

New Monthly Activities (Starting in May, 2026)

1st Saturday of each month – Pokémon Academy

Kick off the month with a 30-minute workshop at the start of league!

 

• Runs from 2:00–2:30 PM (starts on time!)
• Focused on learning a new Pokémon TCG skill or concept
• Includes a fun hands-on activity to reinforce learning
• No extra cost – completely optional

 

Workshop Topics:

• May: How to Read a Pokémon Card
• June: Status Conditions (Poisoned, Confused, etc.)
• July: Game Setup Basics
• August: Phases of a Turn
• September: How to Spot Fake Cards
• October: Intro to Deck Building
• November: What is a Deck List & Why It Matters

2nd Saturday – Trade Day!

• First 30 minutes dedicated to safe, supervised trading
• Our store trade binder will be available
• Great chance to swap cards and build your collection!

3rd Saturday – Junior Tournament (Ages 16 & Under)

• Best of 3 matches
• Max 30-minute rounds, up to 3 rounds
• Decklists required
• Casual league play still available at the same time

Seasonal Prizing:
Top 3 players across spring/summer events will earn a mini Pokémon acrylic standee!

4th Saturday – Arts & Crafts

Relaxed creative session during the first 30 minutes

 

Examples include:

• Decorating deck boxes
• Origami Pokémon crafts
• Custom accessories

Free and optional!

 

Adult Pokémon League (Tuesdays @ 6:30 PM)

A more focused and competitive-friendly environment.

 

While all ages are welcome, Tuesday nights are geared toward players looking for a more serious gameplay experience. We ask everyone to be respectful of this environment.

 

Monthly League Leaderboard (Starting in April, 2026)

We’re introducing a monthly points system using official Pokémon league scoreboards!

 

How It Works:

• Players are paired each round (Swiss-style)
• Matches are Best of 1, max 30 minutes
• Up to 3 rounds per night

 

Points:

• ✅ Win = 2 points
• 🤝 Draw = 1 point each
• ❌ Loss = 1 point

Players can earn up to 12 points per month

Once you hit 12 points, you’ll receive an additional promo pack!

Points reset at the start of each month

Participation is optional and free
