Join Event Horizon Hobbies for our first large-scale Warhammer 40,000 Grand Tournament, a full weekend of competitive gaming, hobby celebration, and community at the beautiful Midland Cultural Centre – Quest Art Galleries, all in time to celebrate the launch of 11th Edition!

Midland Melee is shaping up to be one of the premier competitive hobby events of the summer in Simcoe County; with space for 32 players, premium venue support, included lunches, prize support from both Event Horizon Hobbies and Games Workshop, and five rounds of Warhammer 40,000 using the new 11th Edition ruleset!

Whether you’re competing for Best Overall, bringing a beautifully painted army, or simply looking for an incredible weekend of 40K, we can’t wait to see you at the tables.

Lunch is included with your ticket for both tournament days.

Additional snacks and beverages will also be available for purchase throughout the weekend, as well as a cash bar Saturday afternoon.

Players with dietary restrictions are encouraged to contact organizers in advance.

Awards & Prize Support

Prize tables will be available for winners to choose from, with support generously provided by both Event Horizon Hobbies and Games Workshop.

Community Support

Quest Art Gallery has graciously partnered with us to host this event in their incredible gallery space.

An additional raffle table will be available throughout the weekend, with all raffle proceeds donated directly to the Quest Art Gallery & School.

Tournament Standards

This event will use the current Warhammer 40,000 11th Edition rules and FAQs at the time of the tournament.

• WYSIWYG standards apply
• Conversions and kitbashes are welcome within event guidelines
• Models must be primarily Games Workshop or Forge World products
• Full tournament packet and army submission details will be released prior to the event
• Fully 3D printed models are not permitted at this event
